The army wasn't able to adapt to playing on a level ice sheet.. usually has a tilt toward our bench! Kelly's has found a replacement for warner(second blueline)style play. They went outside there franchise and brought in another D-1 player from Broken Drum...Is there turmoil in the veteran ranks of Kelly's?
My understanding of the situation is that kellys found out about the leaner squad and went recruiting.

Yes the author got an English degree in January.
