Game time 6:00 vs Caufield's at GFBLC
The Red Army takes on Caufield's tonight in Huff-n-Puff action. Caufield's defeated the Army earlier this year 6-2. But since then the Army has played much better defensively. The Army hasn't scored more than 3 goals in a game all season is ready for a breakout game. Coach Terry Paukert has inserted himself in the line-up after benching Todd Schumacher after last weeks pitiful performance. Paukert says, "I figure with Schumacher out of the lineup it could be a 4 goal swing. I know we will be better defensively and we should be better in their end because we will get the puck out of our end." Josh Gilbertson doesn't agree with his coach, "Schumacher is our best defenseman in front of the net. He has saved numerous goals that I in no way would stop." If the Army can't come up with a win tonight it will be the first time the army hasn't won before the Christmas break. (No game next week) GM Kevin Kyle said, "Heads will roll if we can't at least pick up a point. Assistant GM, Paul Markovich is In Prince Edward Island scouting right now and the checkbook is open. Nobodies position is safe." Lots of tickets still remain for tonight's game. Call 1-800-REDARMY for the best available. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Army fans!
