No Offense again

The Red Army continues to have trouble scoring as they went down again 2-1 to the hands of the El Roco Buschwackers. The loss dropped the Army to 0-5-2. It is possible that the Army could go win-less before the Christmas break for the first time in franchise history. The game was a total debacle. On the first shift Army defensman, Todd Schumacher, whiffed 3 times and passed the puck to the other team twice, and he got worse as the game went on. Coach Terry Paukert said it was the Schuamcher's worst performance of his illustrious career. "I can't believe how Schumacher played. He wouldn't have been able to play in a mite game. He is going to have to be sat down next week and I will be taking his place to show him how it is done." Perry Marto added, "Schumacher can talk about how we only gave up 2 goals and the forwards could only muster 1 on the night. But when you have to play in the defensive end all night, because on one defensman, you are not going to get a lot of shots." On a positive note Shawn McMillan notched his first goal of the year. McMillan said, "It was definitely the icy hot before the game. Our masseuse, Jen Sterger, did a great job on my "Shoulder". I'm glad Brett Farve recommended her." Josh Gilbertson finished with 5 saves for the Army in one of his best performances of the year. "I'm just glad I have the players in front of me that don't allow a lot of shots. When you have a save percentage of 60% you can't afford to have many shots on me if we want to win." Can't wait until next week!

I'd like to thank Schuey for being so horse s**t and taking the spotlight off me. Thanks to Steve Knipe for back checking and saving my arse a couple times. 12
