Only 2 games left
The Red Army season is almost over. With only 2 games left the players and fans can only look to next year. At 2-13-2, the Army is in one of the greatest tailspins, since the Lions didn't win a game in the NFL a couple of years ago. Tonight they take on Caufields at 7:00 at the Gambucci Arena. "We are playing for pride, we will not lay down our last two games," said Bill Knipe. Steve Palmiscno chimed in, "We are professionals and will play hard until the final buzzer. If not, no Busch Light after the game." With only 2 games left, the question on everyone's mind is "Will Todd Schumacher score." Schumacher has scored in every season since 1986. A string of 25 years could be coming to an end this year. "As a defensive defensman, I'm not there to put the puck in the net. I'm told not to create like Oly. I know I can, but I do what is best for the team. I have confidence, and am playing well. I don't see a problem in scoring a goal in the last 2 games." Kurt Comeau added, "Not a chance in HELL. Have you ever seen Schuamcher shoot. You can read Made in Canada on the puck. The streak is over and hopefully his career!" Call 1-800-REDARMY to witness history tonight!
